Red Dot Ranch is a farm and 501c3 Foundation founded by Mark and Karen Curtiss with a goal of learning to live well in their place. Mark is a Bio-Tech Quality Engineer turned full time farmer who realized that much of what was being treated medically was a symptom of our food system. As a passionate cook he founded Red Dot Ranch to inspire people to grow, harvest, cook and eat healthy food in community. Karen is a practicing architect, principal of Red Dot Studio. It is time to move beyond extraction and grow the practice of architecture with regenerative systems. Mark and Karen straddle urban and rural worlds. We are not so different, we can get along with each other and mother earth.
